This gives us time to clean down after treatments, prepare for the next group of guests and allows time for staff breaks.

Doors will open 10 minutes before your allocated time.

We open booking 2 months in advance -

1st June at 6pm - Aug / Sept

1st August - Oct/ Nov

1st October - Dec/ Jan ‘26

All bookings are made via our booking system on the date and time stated above. 50% deposit is taken upon booking.

We offer one package which is a 2-hour experience and costs £150. This includes the infamous head spa treatment and professional blow dry/style.

This does not include a haircut, however you can add this on at your second appointment for an additional cost of £50.

No, we are not a chain or franchise. We are a small business based in Manchester City Centre. We are in no way affiliated with any other head spas.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please try to do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Cancellations made after this time could result in losing your deposit.

However, if we have enough notice, we’ll do our best to fill the appointment slot and refund your deposit.

Yes! We do £75, £100 & £150 Vouchers.

All vouchers have a 2 year expiry.

Due to an increased demand for appointments, we want to clarify that possessing a Gift Voucher does not fast track your appointment. While we appreciate your enthusiasm in utilizing your voucher, we assure you that there is ample time for their use.

If you bought a voucher between April - October 2024, all vouchers have been extended until 2026

The products which we use are all natural ingredients that come from the ground.

Our oils are NUT FREE however, our hair products may contain traces of nuts / citrus fruits.

We need proper access to the scalp, therefor we cannot perform services on customers with extensions (of any kind) braids, locks, or sew-ins as these obstruct access to the scalp and pores.

We would love to offer this service to pregnant women but unfortunately it is not recommended due to complications that can arise from lying on your back for lengthy periods as well as using certain oils which can have affects on mummy and baby. You and your babies health come first

You must be ages 18+ to attend the head spa as it is an adults only environment.

Yes, you can! We can accommodate up to 4 people per session.

Please note that all treatments are performed in separate rooms, each guest having their own therapist. All blow dry’s take place in the same room, where you can unwind together.

Our package includes a salon finish blow dry and style.

If a blow dry is not required you will receive a longer service on the head spa bed.

The Head Spa is a private space with female only staff. Your own serene private room awaits.

Our Head Spa treatments are designed to be gentle yet effective and suitable for various skin types, including sensitive scalps.

We use a hair care range called OWAY. They are an organic product rich in vitamins and minerals and are essential for healthy hair growth.

Yes! All hair types are welcome. We don’t specialise in cutting/styling curly hair but the treatments are suitable for everyone.

All of our ingredients are safe for any kind of treated hair! However, if you have recently had any kind of chemical services within a week before your Head Spa appointment, there is a chance that the colour/keratin may lift during our detoxing process. Therefore, we recommend customers to wait at least a week after any kind of hair treatment before receiving a Head Spa.

We also recommend waiting at least a week after having a Head spa before doing any kind of chemical services. You wouldn’t want to apply chemicals to a freshly cleaned scalp!

Yes! Everyone is welcome. Hair has no gender!

We are able to accommodate individuals with disabilities. However, please note that our location is on the first floor. While there is lift access, please be aware that we are situated in an older building, and the disabled restroom is located on a different floor.

We cannot assist with lifting anyone, so we kindly ask you to bring someone to help if needed. Should you have any questions, please reach out to us at hello@theheadspa.co.uk

We do not have a waiting area. Please arrive alone, doors will open 10 minutes before your allocated appointment time.

We cannot accommodate for friends, partners or children as this is a private space.

The treatment is for you to relax and unwind but if you would like to take some content before or after the treatment, you most certainly can.

Please refrain from filming during the session as these are private.
